Teddy Bear was very much a huge part of our family for over 16 years, she was only little but had a huge, funny personality 💖we had lots of adventures over the years including driving halfway across Australia twice, she loved hotel rooms and liked to jump up on the beds, even though hotel management preferred not to have dogs on the bed
The kindness of the wonderful people at Sunset Vets felt so genuine, Hannah and Tash so kind and understanding, making all the arrangements.
Dr Cherrie, so very kind, creating a sense of comfort and caring straight away, we felt as if we already knew her. Dr Cherrie guided us through all that was to happen with Teddy Bears passing, which was so very peaceful for Ted and for us a I was very scared to be attending, but with Dr Cherries kindness I was able to comfort Teddy during her passing !💙💙💙we feel very grateful to Sunset Vets 💖 Tina&Jason 🌹

My wife and I recently faced the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our beautiful cat, Henry, due to kidney failure.
During this incredibly difficult time, we were so fortunate to have Dr. Julia come to our home to assist with his euthanasia.
From the moment Dr. Julia arrived, her genuine empathy and kindness was more than obvious. She handled the situation with immense care, ensuring that Henry’s final moments were peaceful and dignified.
Her ability to convey the process clearly and compassionately made a world of difference for us during such a painful time.
We are deeply grateful for Dr. Julia’s genuine concern and the respectful manner in which she helped us navigate this challenging experience.
Her dedication to both her patients and their families is truly commendable.

We had Sunset help us with two of our precious fur babies and we can not thank them enough. Both Dr Giles and Dr Brittainy were so understanding of our needs and so patient with us. I think it was the hardest times in our lives, but Sunset made it possible for us to say goodbye to our fur babies in their/our home and surroundings. Jackie has been a ray of sunshine for us, we didn’t even know there were vets specializing in caring for older pets. Our elderly Labrador (Zoe) was having great difficulties walking around, her limping was pitiful to watch, and now it’s a though Jackie has taken years off her age. Zoe is moving around much more freely and confidently now, and even more importantly, seems to be very happy with life.

I highly recommend this business, an at home service is definitely a private, lovely, comfortable way to say goodbye to your loved ones. We recently had to put our beautiful boy down and what was one of the hardest experiences in my life was made so much better by the lovely Dr Esther and Ashlee. My dog hated going to the vet clinic and I always promised him I would never allow his final moments to be in the place he hated most. Our boy went downhill very quickly and I couldn’t find a vet to come out and help. Ashlee helped Dr Esther shuffle a few things around and she fit us in with very little notice, knowing that we couldn’t ask our little man to wait any longer. Dr Esther is kind, gentle and most of all understanding and sympathetic. Thank you to all the team.

Well, there are not enough stars in the world to describe sunset vets. We have had a wonderful experience with them and felt so alone and heartbroken until we found sunset vets. Our vet Angela was so lovely and we felt so supported with her. Ashlee in the office has been amazing, honestly you cannot teach the sensitivity and empathy that she displays and the comfort she brought to us. Always responsive to our messages and supportive throughout the process of losing our most beloved boy Baci. When our boy was ready for his final goodbye we had the divine Dr Esther come to visit us. She was such a beautiful gentle soul, she loved Baci and we felt so loved and supported at our time of intense grief. Honestly, she made the process bearable and supported us whilst we ugly cried. After my darling left she smothered my boy Bailey with love whilst we cuddled Baci and was very sensitive to our needs. She gave us time to grieve and was so caring. I feel like she was brought to us for this specific reason. Baci passed so peacefully with his mummies by his side. We are so glad we found them. We would highly recommend.

Dr Jackie was so compassionate and understood how hard it was to say goodbye to our beautiful Brandy. We were inconsolable but she followed up with a phone call that helped me with my grief offering support and reasons for our decision. I’m so glad we had her come to our house and Brandy died peacefully in my arms on her bed.

Such an amazing, wonderful and supportive team. Saying goodbye to my little girl was hard, but the Sunset team took so much of the burden. They helped arrange cremation at a time when I could barely get 2 words out between sobs and were patient and helpful when I changed my mind about what time I wanted them to come.
I will sing their praises until I’m hoarse and will tell everyone I meet.
