Heidi grew up on the South Coast of NSW around Jervis Bay and then spent much of her working life in Sydney before calling the Sunshine Coast home for around 20 years.

Heidi comes to us with a diverse career background, from Human Resources and Real Estate, all the way to Fitness and Landscape Gardening! She brings with her a wealth of experience in managing and developing successful and supported teams, all whilst raising a family of 3 now grown adult children.

Heidi is passionate about helping others to grow and develop their skills and talent, and is so inspired by the growing movement of Palliative Veterinary Care here in Australia.

It always starts with one. Who was your special pet?

Sophie, our miniature Tenterfield Terrier. Sophie was tiny but she had a big personality, she would go for a long walk / carry around the neighbourhood everyday so everyone knew her and absolutely loved her. She went everywhere with our family on her tiny little legs and kept her big brother, a mastiff cross in line.

What else are you passionate about? My family, nature and giving back. I love the water so when I’m not at Sunset Vets you can find me teaching children to swim.

What do you love about palliative medicine? Quality time, giving people and pets the opportunities to create special meaningful moments that will last forever.
