The Sunset Vets Ambassador Handbook is a downloadable tool designed to empower you to help us spread awareness about the importance and impact of palliative care. 

We hope this ultimately means that more pets will be able to receive appropriate pain management in their final days, be given access to compassionate and carefully planned euthanasia services when they need it, and that families will be better supported in their decision making and grief, during this most difficult time in their lives.

Why Join the Program?

Palliative Care is a type of medicine that is powerful. It allieviates suffering and produces so many benefits for all, but so often, families don’t know how to find access to this type of care, or indeed, that this type of care even exists for four-legged family members. 

It is our hope, that with your support, we can reach, educate and empower more families to seek out this specialised care. We want to encourage pet owners to know how to talk more openly about their goals for saying goodbye, and connect with their own Veterinarians about palliative care services so we see less pets in pain during their last days.
