It always starts with one. Who was your special pet?
I had some very special pets growing up. However, my current dog, Ruff, has taken the cake for the most special pet I’ve ever had the joy of knowing. My partner and I rescued Ruff from RSPCA Noosa when he was six months old, and now he is almost two. We have been through such a journey with him, working on his behaviour issues and training everyday, and I’m so proud of how far he has come. We are so deeply connected as a family, and love to take Ruff with us on our adventures whenever possible.
What else are you passionate about?
In addition to my work at Sunset Vets, I am also a yoga teacher and I am passionate about living a holistically healthy and active life. I also love to travel and explore new places and cultures.
What do you love about Palliative Care?
It’s important to me to do meaningful work, and at Sunset Vets I am privileged to be part of an amazing team, that supports loving families and ensures that their pets are as comfortable and pain-free as possible during the end stages of their lives. It’s beautiful to see families be able to spend more precious and quality time with their beloved pets during this time.
