PET LOSS REFERRAL FORM

Sunset Vets, in conjunction with a Psychology Clinic, welcomes self referral from clients who recognise they are in need of additional support, as well as referrals from Australian veterinarians wanting to refer the owners of their patients to this program.

It is important to note, however, that as a training clinic the Clinic does not take on cases of a legal nature of any type, nor do they accept referrals for high risk clients, actively psychotic clients, or students with any conflict of interest.

Please Note: The Psychology Clinic does not provide crisis or emergency support.

Such an amazing, wonderful and supportive team. Saying goodbye to my little girl was hard, but the Sunset team took so much of the burden. They helped arrange cremation at a time when I could barely get 2 words out between sobs and were patient and helpful when I changed my mind about what time I wanted them to come. Thank you to the extraordinary team at Sunset Vets who provided a high level of care and compassion when we recently had to say goodbye to our 14-year-old girl, Jewel. Allowing her to go at home in familiar surroundings made the process less stressful for her, our younger dog and ourselves. Special thanks to Ashlee for her compassionate manner on the phone (who arranged this for us at short notice)... and Dr Jan who was gentle and caring when it mattered most.
